A residence hall for women and men. On second reference, GSP. Often referred to as GSP-Corbin in conjunction with the adjacent Corbin Hall, with which it shares a dining facility.

It is one of five living facilities funded by gifts from alumna Gertrude Sellards Pearson and her husband, Joseph R. Pearson. The others are Grace Pearson Hall and Pearson Hall, both men's scholarship halls; Sellards Hall, a women's scholarship hall; and Joseph R. Pearson Hall, now home of the School of Education.

Use women for all female students.

The scholarships are awarded by the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program.

Men's scholarship hall. On second reference, Grace Pearson to avoid confusion with Pearson Hall, also a men's scholarship hall.

A 2.5 GPA is required.

Capitalize but don't quote.
     A grade of B or better is required.

Use an apostrophe for plurals.
     I earned A's and B's in school.

We cannot publish grade point averages without written permission of students.

Formerly part of Research & Graduate Studies. The Office of Research is now separate. The former Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research & Graduate Studies is now the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.
